Midland Association of Riding Clubs (MIDARC)
This show is affiliated to MIDARC UK
and is running qualifiers for the 2011 Summer Championships in accordance with
their rules and regulations. The showjumping, dressage and showing classes at
the May, June, July and August shows that are marked with a * are qualifiers
for the Summer Championships to be held on the 27th, 28th
and 29th August 2011 at Rodbaston College, Penkridge, Staffordshire.
In September competitors who qualify will qualify for the MIDARC UK 2011/2012
Winter Championships.
The number of qualifying places
awarded per class is as follows:-
Up to 5 starters 1 qualifying place
6 – 10 starters 2
qualifying places
11 – 15 starters 3 qualifying places
16 – 20 starters 4 qualifying places
Then 1 qualifying place per extra 5
starters
In all showjumping classes,
qualifiers must have jumped clear in the first round. If there are no clear
rounds the eventual winner will be the only one to qualify.

British Show Pony
Society (BSPS) - Bright Stars Performance Supreme.
A brand new
set of classes to give riders and their ponies, not registered with the
BSPS, a chance to qualify for the BSPS Summer Championship Show in August
without becoming members of the BSPS and registering their pony.
Alvechurch Riding Club has introduced 6 Bright Stars
classes in the schedule. These are open to BSPS Members, as well as non-members,
with registered or unregistered animals.
The three highest-placed ponies/horses in each class at our May to
August shows will qualify for the finals at the 2011 BSPS Championship Show to
be held at ARENA

Alvechurch Riding Club is a
qualifying venue for the Championships of Great Britain in August and October
2011 at the David Broome Event Centre.
The dates are as follows:
Senior Championships of

Junior Championships of

Dressage Championships of
7 –
Show-jumpers will qualify
at the show if they compete a double-clear and dressage competitors will
qualify with a score of 58% or over.
For dressage, competitors
must not have any British Dressage points. For show-jumping, BSJA
members may only take part in the higher classes – 2’9” for juniors and 3’0”
for seniors. Competitors may qualify for
2 consecutive heights.

Equifest Qualifiers
This show is affiliated to Equifest. The two highest placed exhibits in our May to August shows, who have not
already qualified, will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be
held at the East of England
Showground on the 18th – 21st August 2011. Riders who
qualify at the September show will qualify for Equifest 2012
